Age Eligibility

We welcome children ages 2 - 5 years old to join our community of explorers.

School Hours

Monday–Friday 8:30AM – 4:00PM

Program Options

  • Flexible schedules: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day enrollment

  • Half-Day Program: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

  • Full-Day Program: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • School-year program with an optional summer session

Our Location

Greenwood Trail Forest School is based in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. To give children a variety of experiences, we rotate between different areas of the park every week. This approach allows children to explore new trails, gardens, and natural spaces while still feeling a sense of routine and familiarity. Families will receive the exact meeting location in advance, with a weekly schedule shared every Sunday.
